The YouTube channel Wanted recently dropped a massive social experiment: “100 Players Simulate World War in GTA.” This isn’t just a gaming video; it’s peak internet, with many viewers claiming it’s “better than any movie I have watched this year.”

The Setup: Diplomacy & Stereotypes

The premise is ambitious: 10 different countries, each led by a high-profile “General” (including LazarBeam, EsfandTV, and AlexAce), are dropped into a partitioned map. The production team, modders, and players deserve massive props for the immersion, but it’s the hilariously lean-in stereotypes that make this 10x funnier.

Early on, the tactical positions of the countries set the tone for the entire war:

FRANCE: “We are in the middle. Everybody can attack us.”

GERMANY: “We are in the middle. We can attack everybody!”

In one of the most satirical moments of the video, the USA actually calls Mexico to ask for help building a wall—and even suggests they pay for it.

Action, Alliances, and Brutal Betrayal

The middle act is a masterclass in drama and backstabbing. We see the UK disarmed for “peace talks,” only to be framed for a crime they didn’t commit. In a move that feels like a Shakespearean tragedy, they are voted against by a member of their own alliance and executed in front of the other leaders.

And then there’s Germany. Finding themselves sandwiched and attacked by two different alliances at once, the German General shouts a line that resonates through history: “I’VE PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE!”

The contrast in philosophies is equally striking. While the world remembers Mahatma Gandhi’s famous quote—“An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind”—the Indian General in this simulation had a slightly different approach: “We fight, we kill, we spill blood!”

The Cinematic Finale

The final moments are “absolute cinema.” As the world descends into nuclear tension, the Irish General perfectly captures the spirit of his team: “So we launch the nuke and then go to the pub.”

There’s even a moment of colonial tension when Australia rallies the troops:

🇦🇺: “DO IT FOR THE COMMONWEALTH BOYS!!!”

🇮🇪: “WE’RE NOT PART OF THE COMMONWEALTH!”

The climax—featuring nukes launching into the air while a beautiful, haunting song plays—is a visual masterpiece. Seeing “allies” accidentally blowing themselves up in the crossfire is peak comedy and tragedy rolled into one.

Final Verdict

Action, drama, alliances, and an unpredictable outcome… this is top-tier entertainment. 30 minutes into the video, you’ll realize this belongs in a movie theater. It is a fascinating, hilarious, and ultimately destructive look at what happens when you give 100 gamers the keys to the world.

Watch the full simulation here: 100 Players Simulate World War in GTA

What happens when 100 players, 10 nations, and a handful of ego-driven “Generals” collide in a GTA simulation?
